    Alrighty people.

Just bagged a dirt cheap acer 5336, for basic stuff. Anyhows, after wiping the junk, re-installing windows etc (i've done this a million times before, just to stop anyone from flaming me for wiping the recovery partiton lol), on this acer i'm failing to see what the launch manager does. I've had a couple of acers before and launch manger served a purpose, but I can't see what purpose it serves, doesn't seem to be any buttons seperate from the keyboard from what i can see apart from the power button. Any ideas anyone?

    Cheers

Wi-Fi on-off button has to be somewhere I suppose- that would need Launch Manager to work.

All works without LM installed, so i guess on the 5336, it's useless!!

Cheers for the input guys/gals much appreciated!!!!

Yes maybe so but the Launch Manager is there for a very good reason. It barely takes any resouces and such and I find it actually useful. On my laptop there is no light on the Caps Lock button so when I press it the Launch Manager pops up and tells me that my Caps Lock button is on. Same with the Num and Scroll look buttons. As well as the wireless button. I cant turn my Bluetooth or Wireless off/on individually without the Launch Manager. If I press the 'Fn' button and then F3 which is the wireless button I get the option to turn either off but keep the other on with Launch Manager. Without it I don't get that option.

Not to mention I can change the brightness, multiple monitors, put my computer to sleep and mute and everything with the press of a button.

If I were you I wouldn't be so stingy, I'd just keep it installed it's not annoying and doesn't slow your computer down.

Installed now, thought it was a bit tight of acer not putting any lights or notifications when you press numlock or caps lock.

    Cheers for the input
