    Hi,

    Its 4925 6A1G16Mn. Now it use dummy board inserted in the mxm slots. Can i upgrade it?

    nope
    different chipsets
    the one you have probably has gm45 chipset and the 4925g has the pm45 chipset

    and even if it worked you would have to remove some resistors from the motherboard near the chipset and add some near the mxm slot
    the motherboard is the same but configured differently for onboard and external gpu

    Yes, it is GM45 chipsets. So its not upgradeable? Have to replace motherboards?

    Hi, i have a problem with Acer 6930G. The graphics card HD4650 1GB that came with it died and i replaced it with a 8600M GS from an Acer 5920G. The first time, the 6930G booted fine, but then i shutdown and it wouldn't boot again. If i leave it for a few hours it boots again and if i shut it down it wont boot again. If i remove the graphics card the computer always boots fine into windows, but no video of course.When it boots, it runs everything fine. I ran furmark and max temps were around 70º.

    The 8600M GS works fine in the 5920G.

    Any ideias?

    Already changed memories and updated the 6930 to latest BIOS.
