I decided to install 64-bit Vista today and downloaded the acer mobility center plug-in hoping that the acer utility and driver installation button will appear, but unfortunately it didn't work. Any idea on what do i need to download or install so i have this icon again, because i would like to install some drivers and acer software like the Empowering Technologies, the CD/DVD burning software etc. Or is it possible to use the Acer Recovey DVDs in some way?

    Go to the following link,

    http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/downloads.html

Select your laptop and download the 64bit drivers for your model. You can also download the Acer software there. Third party software, like the DVD burning software, is not available. You will either have to find another source or buy your own copy.
