Hi, Having problems with my Acer Notebook
Am trying to turn on wireless capability using switch on the front of the computer, but the little sattelitte looking icon keeps coming up on screen with a red cross. Doesn't matter if I give the switch a quick flick or hold it, it won't turn green. Is there any other way of turning it on?

If your talking about the bar signal thing on the lower right you have to click on it to open it and it will show you all the wireless signals in your area...then you have to find your wireless network and click on it and enter your password if it's password protected.
