Well you can definitely expect a better user interface, memory handling and an overall wireless nirvana. With one of the most important features being that it will increase the battery span of most net books by at least 20%. Tested myself and I am a very happy acer one and win 7 user. :)

I recently got my one, and the first thing i did was notice the mediocre performance and internet speed i was getting with XP. My only choice was to upgrade to Vista or was it? I decided to look around for Windows 7 and run some benchmarks and see how it compared overall. The results exceptional; internet connection for some reason is handled way better and the battery life will increase by a minimum of 20%... I think I'm the first to report installing Win 7 on an acer one. Overall the performance is superior, if you are interested in doing the same check back later i might write a simple tutorial on how to achieve all the process. :)

    Hello RFrancis,
I just got an Aspire one and don't know how to get Windows 7. Do you have a step by step guide on how to get it on my one?

Well of course he is, you didn't go to the developer conference did you citizen86? The installation is not difficult at all and the benefits according to some of my tests are very good. However, I have been busy with my real life and will not be able to write a simple guide until 11/15/08.

ahhh you just missed it, you better wait for some more time to get a public beta. It will be even better once publicly released. Undoubtedly the performance is way better when compared to Vista. I am already in love with Win7.
