This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I have a bunch of old .avi files that I recorded with my built in camera (Acer TM8204 WLMi) a long while ago.

    Now I try to play the files and all I get is sound, no video. I've tried every single codec in the entire world, but nothing works. I have the oribicam software installed and everything, but it's still a no-go.

    download gspot and see what codec(s) it is using for video.

    I installed the XP version of the Orbicam software which came with a codec...

    A codec otherwise impossible to find!
