    Acer P645-M - biometric sensor does not show in the Control Panel (Win7)

    Hello.

    Finally, I have got a working piece of hardware. The only issue is that the fingerprint sensor from Egistek doesn't work. I can see the sensor in the Device Manager - correctly installed and working. But nothing shows in the control panel so I cannot set it up.

    I have tried:
    to reinstal the driver (up to date)
    to check services.msc and to turn on the Windows Biometric Service (or how it is called)
    to check gpedit and turn on biometrics

    Nothing work.

    So I ask all of the owners of Acer P645 with Windows 7. How do you use the fingerprint reader...
