Hey all, anyone with experience that can help me out? I have managed to extract the GTX 1060 VBIOS and modify it with an adjustable tdp and raised limits and insert it back into the bios file. My issue now Is insyde secure flash is preventing me from flashing the file and telling me invalid firmware, anyone know how to force flash or bypass this? Thanks! I have the file if someone would like to look at it. Need some experts on bios modding lol.

I am also interested in this.
I've seen/heard of people reverse engineering the secure flash so I know it's possible. It just becomes specific to that particular user if I remember correctly.

    (Nice mods btw)

I have modded my BIOs but the only method was extracting it via programmer to another PC, modding the BIOs then rewriting it to your system...

Let me tell you a little trick though.
Acer had unlocked TDP adjustment and you can change it in throttlestop under power ratio limits.

I have a Helios group on Facebook with 1300+ members and pretty much everyone has done it successfully.

If you'd like to join we have many mods on progress and tweaks and such..

On Facebook groups just search Acer Predator Helios 300.
