    Any word on a Acer puma laptop for the U.S. market?

    Dont know for the US, but here in Canada, Puma is almost none existant.

    AMD said in the past that they have a record number of design win using Puma platform.... I have yet to find one here in Canada using a decent montior size, at least 15.4 inch and a good video card like Radeon 3200 series.

    Ask and ye shall receive - the TravelMate 5530 is Puma-based, and launches in Canada on September 10th.
    EDIT: And in the US, the Extensa 5430 should already be available.

    the Aspire 5530G is based on Puma... i just saw one on display 2dai when and it had hybrid crossfire :D
