This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    What is it? It is on my Acer TimelineX 4820TG (C:\Program Files (x86)\Acer\Acer Vcm\Rs_service.exe). My firewall wants to confirm if it is safe.

    It's legit- part of Acer Video Conference Manager.
    That said- it's completely unneeded and since both parties of the conversation have to use it it's also unlikely that you're ever gonna use it at all.
