    Hey guys,

    The problem in brief:

    1. I upgraded the XP to a Vista Home Premium. As you all know with this
operation we're loosing the build-in manufacturer Recovery Console software.

    2. A few days ago I got some kind of ****ty virus and I decided to Recover the OS through my Recovery Console CD copies(2 CD's) I made before I upgrade to Vista.

    3. I changed with F6 the boot way to start reading from the Pioneer ATA device. Once the image loading completed it says..."Please wait...", and that's it. I was waiting almost an hour without any result. It doesn't show the Recovery Console window, but only this black screen with the label...
    "Please wait...".

    4. What to do? Please help! Is there any other options, methods or ways to recover the system and how to do that? I'm begging for your kind cooperation & valuable help! Thank you so much in advance!

    P.S. My PC configuration:

try changing the boot to dvd first in bios.
put the cd/dvd you burnt in to the dvd drive. and restarting.
this should boot from the cd/dvd's.
in the bios make sure the D2D recovery is enabaled.
if that leaves you stuck then you need to try the Alt+F10 at the acer screen.

always try the easy stuff first. :D

    hi jbazsa,

you I thought the same...because I've noticed that actually I don't have a second partition(which is FAT32) and I thought this might be from Vista CD's. They probably wiped out that one.
Is there anything I should be aware of once I start doing it?
Thank you for the cooperation! Really appreciated!
