Just checked their supprt website today and had found the new ePower for Windows 7 (I have the Timeline 4810T). Can someone test that and verify that the battery power consumption is similar to the vista?

Only 1 word to describe their software:useless
They just put their brand name on Windows 7 Advance Power Management.
Can't they just come out with newer more useful software?

Great! Now all we need is Optical Drive PM for Windows 7 and the power management software should be complete.

Just download the Optical Drive Power Management from vista, run it in vista mode for installation.
I have the vista one installed, works great.

What does ePower do, just dim the screen when on battery? I see in the folder in Programs, it has the Nvidia switch (but I don't have that version).

Do you see a green leaf button on your top right corner of your keyboard?
That is what Smart Power Manager does.
Epower Manager simply slaps on an Acer logo on Vista/Windows 7 advance power management for users too duff to use Windows Advance Power Management.
