Hi, i vűconnected my laptop via HDMI cable to my LCD TV. The video is fine, but the sound comes only through my pc. I read on this and other forums that i should set the HDMI audio output device to default in the audio options, but it's not active to me. Can anyone help what should i do? I tried to read the help on my pc, and it says that i can manage it in the Nvidia settings somewhere, but i cannot find any audio options there. Thx for any advice!

I know running Vista on my Dell sometimes you'd have to open the program while it's already connected to the TV to have the sound come from the TV.

Right-click the Volume icon near the clock on your screen and set the default audio output to HDMI.

If you have "Acer Empowering Technology" (usually ships with Acer laptops), you should open it up, click the audio icon, and set it to HDMI output.

    Hope this helps!
