    Acer TM 8101 WMLi screen issue

    Hi all,

    I have a screen problem with my 8100 serie TM, about 18 months old.
    After a few minutes on the screen starts to blink and show all sorts of striped. If I move it a bit, it gets back to normal. After a bit longer, screen just turns white and nothing I can do.
    If I reboot, I noticed I need to wait for 15-30 mins for screen to display properly again. Bit like if it had to cool down...

    I tried with external display and it seems to work fine.
    I am puzzled and it seems it is the screen at fault not the graphic card (mobility radeon X700). However, I would have thought the screen would work or not work...
    Maybe a wiring issue?

    Any views?

    Seems to have solved it.
    Opened the case (painfull job on this model compared to 630 serie!) and cleaned the fan and heatsink.
    Could not see properly thru the sink if it was clogged but I sprayed with a DustGun for couple of minutes, both ways, in and out, and now lappie been working continuously for more than 1 hour....
