i have an acer tm2480. i want to connect my laptop to my tv using a 4 pin s-video cable. my tv has s-video plug with 4 holes. but acer tm2480 has s-video with 7 holes. (but 4 holes cable does fit)

when it is connected up and i press Fn+F5 to change the view, nothing happens on laptop or tv. when i try it on a toshiba laptop i see it on the tv and on the toshiba laptop it tells you that you are swiching view.

anyone know how i can fix this???
