I was looking for notebooks, how's this one? I found it on newegg. http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproductdesc.asp?description=34-115-158&DEPA=0
It looks great and cheap too. Anybody know anything about it?

Dwd3885,
It depends on what your needs are for the notebook. From the specs on Newegg, this is what I found:
Pentium M 710 1.4Ghz CPU
Intel Extreme Graphics 2 (Shared Video)
40GB HDD
256MB Ram
With these specs, it will handle office/business apps, surfing, dvd watching, mp3 playing and light gaming. I say light gaming because the video card is not a very powerful card. Especially since the video memory is shared with system memory. This type of video card will work with games approx 6 months to over a year old. Newer games require too much GPU power to work well on this type of card. Also, it doesn't have DirectX 9.0 support, therefore any enhancements on the newer games will not be display on this graphics card.
But if office apps and web surfing is all you're going to be doing, this will me more than enough for your needs.
Please indicated exactly what you need this system for and also a price range and we may be able to suggest alternatives.
