    Hi,

Is there any way I can enable virtualization from BIOS so I can use Windows 7 XP mode in my Travelmate?

I asked it from Acer but they only answered that they don't support that in TM6463WMLi (and TM6539G)

So if someone very smart have made example some sort of program that can turn that damn virtualization on, i'll be pleased to hear from ;)

We have several TM6463WMLi and TM6593G models in our organization and XP mode would be nice to get working...

If it is possible can you download and install RW-Everything on that Laptop.
I need to check if there are flags in the BIOS that can be modified to enable the VT Flag.
    After installing RW-Everything
Select Save All and upload the file
I checked the latest BIOS updated in 2009 for the TM6593G
It should have a VT option in the BIOS.
If it doesn't try flashing it and recheck if VT Option is available.
Also note that the CPU must support VT first.
To confirm check with Intel Website

    Hi,

I managed to get XP mode working in TM6593G, so there's now one problem less.

There's that SMBIOS.rw zipped in attachment from TM6463. Our TM6463WMLi's have Intel T5500 prosessors. Checked from Intel pages that it supports virtualization.

It'd be nice if You could help.
