    hi,
    i have TravelMate 803LCi,
    unfortunately i connected the modem to 220V instead of phone line :( and the modem doesn't work anymore. is there any way to change the modem or i must change the board?

    In some cases, the modem is a seperate card on the unit which can be replaced seperately, but some units have the modem built on-board the systemboard. If this is the case, you'll need to get youself a new systemboard. You just gotta figure out if it's integrated or a seperate card.
