I believe this model is the Intel version of the Acer Ferrari 3200 model. It looks the same (without all the jazzy red, which I prefer) and has very similar specs. This would probably be the unit I'd get rather than the Acer, just because of the color.
Most people who have bought Acers seem to like the product and the support is generally on par with other large manufacturers.
One thing I noticed, this model costs considerably more than the Ferrari 3200, same specs but with an AMD64 CPU.

I got mine about a month ago, and I love it. I haven't dealt with the support, but getting the extended warranty was a breeze. The Ferrari 3200 does have the same physical specs, but it doesn't perform as well. It gets barely more than half the battery life and isn't quite as powerful either, a mobile Athlon64 3000+ only seems to run about as fast as a 1.7GHz Pentium M from what I've seen in reviews. I never could have lived with the paint job anyway.
