been looking at buying a laptop, but dont wanna spend much so limited to i3 really,

is it possible to change the processor in these laptops to a i5 or i7 easily?

if so which ones would you recommend when i get some extra money, i want the battery life which is why i choose timeline over standard acer aspires.

    many thanks

Yes you can upgrade the 4820/5820 to any 1st gen core i dual core CPU i5 or i7 (reports of i7 dual core upgrades in the forum have been mixed as they tend to run quite warm).

i5 460M, 480M or 5xxM series are all doable. Bronsky has an i5 5xxM series in his 3820TG that is overclocked to some extreme in the 3.7GHz range I believe.
