    Hi

I need a service manual or a guide to change the hard drive to an SSD disk. I see many people mentioning they have done it, but I can't seem to find a step by step procedure. Do you also have to disconnect any cable to do this?
    It looks very risky.

I have tried to follow this procedure: Gadgets and Hacks: Acer 3830TG-6431 Teardown.

I did not continue as I am not sure if you have to remove the whole case and disconnect the 5 cables before it is possible to release the hard drive. Any help will be appreciated.
