Alright guys, at first I was a little frustrated with how warm my Acer Travelmate 4670's keyboard got as I was typing, but I've noticed that there's a fantastic alternate use for it.

When you go to take a shower, presumably in your dorm, put your shirt/pants/whatnot on top of the keyboard, by the time you're out of your shower it will be toasty and nice feeling.

Another tip, ya know that side fan? pop a pair of socks next to there, and try to come up with something that feels better than a toasty pair of socks in the winter time.

    Oh good lord...

The irony is, I'll probably use those tips for when I get my laptop next semester... especially the socks one ;-)

If anyone else has mundane uses for this expensive piece of equipment please volunteer them! (I use it as the biggest portable mp3 player on the market sometimes) I pipe music from it to my headphones from my backpack, due to a ghetto/broken mp3 player.

Or, get one of those in-car radio transmitters to play using the car's stereo system! And it will become the world's most expensive DVD player. (pray your battery life lasts 3 hours... or you'll be dissappointed that the computer turns off before the crucial ending!)
