    Hi

Me again. Are these notebooks customizable. Currently come with 1.73Gh Centrino CPU (Euro version has 2Gh); 512 RAM (Euro 1G), etc. Can we get a retailer or even Acer to have these customized??
    Just asking, thanks,
    SL

I think, not. However HDD is easy to replace (as I read).
    TM 3004 - 2.0 GHz
    TM 3003 - 1.86 GHz
    TM 3002 - 1.73 GHz
    TM 3001 - 1.6 GHz

Acer's unfortunatley can't be customized. It is a good thing in a way, because it helps keep cost down.

    Thanks,

Looks like NA only gets the 3002.

I think you'll get a bigger performance increase upgrading the hard drive than a faster CPU.

I don't think you will notice the speed difference between a 3004 and a 3002. Unless you use 100% cpu apps like 3dstudio max or something. The memory can be upgraded, just like the HD. If you do, you have a 3004 for 98%.
