    Acer TravelMate 3200 memory slot

    There is suppose to be 2 memory slot for TM3200. I can't seem to find the other slot. I just found one memory near the Harddrive. HELP!

    i believe you have to remove the rest of the components to reach the other ram slot. i asked a computer technician when i installed ram, he said its dangerous to remove it. sadly, it looks like you can only install 1 slot.

    I can't find the other slot either. I think its embeded somewhere deep.

    So does anyone have directions to disassemble the notebook to get to the 2nd memory slot? It's a bummer that it's listed but you can't get to it. [ :(!]

    In most notebooks on the market these days, the 2nd memory slot is usually located under the keyboard. You must remove some screws from the underside of the notebook and then pop the keyboard off, that's where the 2nd slot should be.
