I have a European 4001WLMI which is almost the same notebook, except the wide-XGA. Also mine carries 60Gb HD.

I think that all 4000 series have the new Dothan 2MB L2 CPU, so maybe the CPU info is wrong.

I'm plenty satisfied with the notebook, good screen, features a DVD Dual 8x Drive, the 1.5Ghz Dothan performs equal to a 2.6Ghz P4 in most tasks, so it'll be enough for programming, and about gaming, the Radeon M 9700 runs Half Life 2 (for example) decently at 1280x800 (wxga native res).

Maybe not the best notebook, considering there're much more expensive solutions with similar specs, but definitively one of the best in price/features/quality ratio.
