    Hi,
Every single time I restart my computer, I lose my wireless connection. I could sit here telling you how I sometimes get it to work, but those methods have random positive results, I'm not really sure how I get it back, when I am able to. But basically, I try to never have to turn my computer off.

I have a TravelMate 4202WLMi with a Belkin Wireless G router, which is connected to a cable modem. My signals are very strong, that's definitely not the problem.

I just got off the phone with Acer support and his advice to me was to restore the computer back to it's original settings, similar to reformatting the hard drive. I find that solution to be a bit excessive. PLEASE, does anyone have any advice. It's sooo frustrating!

    Anyone have any advice??

    Thanks,
    Lisa

    Hi Lisa,
Are you sure the wireless card is enabled when it isn't working? There should be a keyboard shortcut that enables/disables it; check the owner's manual.

If that's not the source of the problem then try updating your wireless card drivers. They can be found on your wireless card manufacturer's website.
