I have just received TM6292. After several hours of poking around to set it up I noticed one annoying thing, which is a screen defect. Top right corner of the screen has a sloped cut-off, which is especially noticeable when I maximize a window. Please see pictures at the link below:

I'm wondering if I should RMA the laptop through the store I bought it from. I will need this notebook on a trip to Europe in two weeks from now and this may not be sufficient for RMA to go through. May be I should go on the trip and have it fixed through Acer when I come back? Or may be I should just open up the display assembly and move the piece of black something that covers up the screen? It is especially noticeable on the second shot that it is not a defect of the matrix, some of the pixels are covered up only partially. I hope it is something simple to fix but I don't know how to take the display assembly apart and then put it back...

Any suggestions on what to do? :)

    Thanks!
