    Acer TravelMateĀ® 4200 battery life any?

    I think it would be intersting to see how the TravelMateĀ® 4200 core duo performs in battery life since it is only equipped with a 6 cells battery (instead of the 9 cells for the AS5672). But the thing is that TM4200 doesn't come with dedicated graph. Maybe comparable results in the end?

    Any insight ?

    I haven't done any scientific benchmarks on this, but i've gotten ~3-3.5 hrs use out of it w/ Wifi going and LCD at 67% (plenty bright for my uses). Hope this helps some. I would be interested in finding out if anyone's been able to swap out the drive/battery to get more life out of this toy.

    code_monkey : do you have a 4200 or a 5672 ?

    To answer your question : no. Therer is no such option. But assuming you have the 4200 and the 6 cells battery, you could still probably replace the battery by a 9 cells.
