finding ram slot on a laptop cant be that hard. under it obviously.
look for a slot that is only about the size of laptop memory...

OK. There are two ram slots in a tm2200. The first is under the large cover with two fan grills in it on the base of the machine. Once you have taken this off, the Slot is located in the bottom right as memory serves. The second is a bit more tricky. This one is located under the keyboard. To get to this, prise off the cover above the keyboars starting at one of the corners. It can be quite stiff and require a little force. Then simply unscrew the keyboard and lift out (if it doesn't there may be a screw hole on the base marked KB, take this screw out and it should lift straight off) and the second RAM slot can be found there. Hope this helps

    Hello,
Thank you, McGrady :) my roommate looked under the laptop again , unscrewed one of things ..it was the H.D which was 40 Gigs. Then there was a another thingy with a sliding object that opened up to a battery, then the only thing left is the box with the speakers. There is nothing left under there to unscrew or open. We again looked completely around the sides for any memory slots and there were none. There is that one thing that will pop out if you push a little button beside it but he said it was a serial port or something of the nature..but..it's not the RAM Slot. Tried to lift the keyboard up slightly as to not hurt it Coz I had read somewhere there was a memory slot underneath there
but it was a different number type. or maybe we don't know how to lift the keyboard up properly...anyways...that's the story for now..
Thanks for your Reply, Very nice of you :D

    Hello :)
Thank you Sooo Much penrynTech!! You're the Best :notworthy: , We thought that the fans were speakers so we didn't unscrew it. But, with your very nicely put instructions I unscrewed the bottom fan area and behold...there was the ram slot :D I was very happy and when I told my roommate he was really happy too, and he says many thanks to you. I or we have not tried the keyboard method yet but I took a snapshot of your instructions for further use when the time comes to give it a go.
Again .. I thank you very, very, much
    and I wish you a
