I finally received the Intel Wifi 5300AGN and it was detected by XP Pro and the driver was loaded, but I can't find any networks.

I then installed the Intel Wireles Pro software (ver 13.0.0.0), but it says the hardware switch is off. I know the hardware switch is on because the wireless works just fine with the older card (3945ABG) and the hardware says switch it's on.

    Any ideas?

Here's the card I bought. It says it's compatible with Acer.
