Hey guys, new to the board. Hoping someone can give some advice. My company gave me an Acer Travelmate 5720 yesterday. I spent the day installing my specific software and it was all working well at the end of the day. Today, I brought the laptop home to work from home and part way through an email, the keyboard went dead. Mouse still worked, but no keys would function. Shutdown and on again and it worked...but sure enough, after typing for a while...dead. It happens every time.

Suggestions? Is there a simple way to check the connection to see if it is plugged in right inside the housing?

NOTE: It is just the keyboard that goes dead...mouse still functions fine. The keyboard just becomes totally unresponsive...

    Thanks,

    BigJ
