Hi everyone. I am completely new to the world of laptops. I have just received today an Acer Aspire 5720, which I purchased off ebay:

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=220381091992

As you can see from the ad, I was actually expecting an Acer Travelmate 5720 instead, as this is what was advertised in the ebay item description.

The specs seem the same. Is there a difference between the Aspire and Travelmate? Have I been conned?

    Please help!

    Joe

Aspire and Travelmate are different model lines and when you have two laptops with exact model numbers but different model lines they can have different specifications. Are you sure that the Aspire you've received has exactly the same specifications as the Travelmate offered on ebay?
