    Hia All,

I am not new to the forums, but am new to Aver, having always had AW, Dell or HP before this. So hi to all ;)

    I am having 2 problems:

The main one is the laptop keeps switching itself [going to powersave HD off mode] off, I have acer epower uninstalled and am using Vista power settings, both set to always on. This is REALLY annoying, I have run all updates etc and even updated USB drivers thinking that could be an issue having read it could cause this.

The second is that I am unable to change boot order in the setup bios, it shows boot order, but will allow no changes, which makes no sense at all! So am unable to boot from any CD!

Any help would be greatly appreciated as am fed up of leaving PC working only to find task stopped as its gone to sleep mode!

On another note, the specs for the LT are:

    # Processor - AMD Athlon X2 QL-60 / 1.9 GHz ( Dual-Core )
    # RAM - 2 GB (installed) / 4 GB (max) - DDR2 SDRAM - 667 MHz ( 2 x 1 GB )
    # Hard Drive - 250 GB - Serial ATA-150
    # Operating System - Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium
    # Screen - 17' TFT 1440 x 900 ( WXGA+ ) - 24-bit (16.7 million colours) - CrystalBrite
    # Optical Drive - DVD±RW (±R DL) / DVD-RAM - integrated
    # Graphics - ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3200 - 256 MB
    # Bluetooth - Yes
    # Notebook Camera - Integrated

Am I right in thinking this could run 64 bit vista ok?

Oh and note, its not activity based as it just shut down to sleep/lock mode while posting this! man ....

    Cheers in advance!

    Shaun

Having the exact same problem here with multiple TravelMate 7530.
Does anyone have a solution for this? I bought 6 of them to install XP on...
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Things you can try:
    Flash the latest BIOS
    May fix 1 and 2
For 2 Try to Enable F12 boot menu to choose Boot media

    Must try:
Undervolt using K10STAT to save power and reduce heat
