i was going to buy this machine because it sounds awesome and i hear complaints about the screen flooding, ive never owned a laptop b4 but this one sounds good, i was going to go for hp nc8430 but that only gave me 1gb of ram and a high price. I dont know is the flooding on it really bad or what????

I've heard some complaints regarding the screen. Check out the LS S1 express duo, it has the same specs.

If it's an acer you had in mind why not wait for the Ferrari 5000?

    Good Luck

Just got my 8204wmli few weeks ago, 06/03 build, great machine all around. I'm assuming what you are asking about is the light leakage from the screen. It is pretty noticeable. Look at the pictures from the notebookreview.com reviews and it pretty much tells you how bad the leakage is. However, for the past few weeks of using the laptop, the leakage has only caught my attention when I'm starting up the computer. Rest of the time while running games, movies, or apps, you can't really see the leakage. Overall it's an excellent screen. Hope this helps!
