For Ram producer i Think they keep changing it.

Btw that is very nice spec, i've never seen that before

Try to run Super pi with other applications off.

    Mine is only 1 16

I have friend with pentium D 9 series overclocked to 4,2 GHZ. He got 1 14 for super pi. So i think 1 06 is very impresive result. I wish i can show it to my friend face. :D

I'm pretty sure the 8205 is the model with a T2600. Not sure what other differences there might be from the 8204, though.

Yes, it is pretty much the same with a T2600, though apparently it only has two partitions, and no phone, I ordered one actually, hasn't come yet, but I'll tell you how it is in a week or so...for now check this thread

Guys the difference is only in the processor T2600 instead of T2500, all other specs are the same, so what is the big deal?

I found the 8205 on Acer's website and it doesn't seem that it is the one you have purchased as it has different specs (it even has a Blu Ray disc drive, so go figure how much would this machine cost?!!!). It's not available on the market yet.

Not the Blu Ray right now. Blu Ray burners are still to hit the market and the least price I could find is 1000-1100 $, that means the 8205 will be at the 3000$ mark easily.

There is a 8205wlmi, and an 8205wlHi...one with the blu ray one without, though for some reason the wlmi is only in Canada, Acer is so weird about their different models.

Ok, Read the full part number. The 8205WL"M"i is for Canada only and the only difference is the T2600 CPU. The 8205 WL"H"i is for the U.S. market and include the T2600 cpu, the 160GB HD and the Blu-ray player (which kinda suck as some of us will have to buy the optional DVD-RW). The Price will be right around $3000US and it should hit U.S. stores sometime towards the end of Aug.

Probably of more interest to the average user is the revamped 8200 (no part number yet, will let you guys know when I do) with Merom. Early result from engineering sample show 20%+ performance increase with better battery life. Since Merom is not due to be release till end of Aug, Don't expect this till end of September earliest.

Actually, the 8205WLHi also has DDR2 667 SDRAM versus DDR2 533 SDRAM in the 8204WLMi.
