    Hello!

I hope someone can shed some light on what's going on with my Acer Travelmate C300.

My Acer shut down on me and I had trouble getting it to reboot, so when I finally got it to turn on (with the on/off switch) the monitor is black and the bluetooth continues to blink. It doesn't seem to boot up at all. The fan is running, black screen with the bluetooth flashing on and off. It doesn't sound like it is booting up like normal, just the black screen and bluetooth flashing, and of course the fan.

I have tried the function/arrow keys to be sure it is not dimmed. I have removed the battery and hard drive and put them back in. The battery is completely charged.

I'm at a loss. This is a $2,000 notebook and my warranty is out. The notebook is less than 2 years old.

Does anyone here have any ideas?

    Thanks!

Did you try reinstalling the system? Booting from recovery CD for instance?
