    Can anyone please help. I had all my software uninstalled and then reinstalled and have now lost the sound I previously had on my laptop. Can someone please explain how to correct this step-by-step - when I check under Control Panel, it shows 'no device' under the volume tab but I really don't know where and what I should check and do. Many thanks.
