Hello!
I'm just buying a new laptop and I'm just collecting some oppinions.
This is the spec of laptop:
ACER V3-772G:
- CPU: Intel Core i7-4702MQ (4th gen proc)
- Memory: 8 GB DDR3 (no idea about frequency, but I think it should be 1600 MHz)
- Hard drive: 750 GB, 5400 rpm (will add 128 GB SSD from my PC)
- GPU: nVidia GeForce GTX 760M 2GB
- 17,3" FHD IPS screen, 1920x1080 max resolution
- price: 830
To me this sounds like a brilliant bargain, but I'm not that adept in laptop specifications, so I wonder if I can get feedback from some of you as well![]()
Thanks in advance and enjoy,

Being curious, which store in europe gives that price ?
Here are Two reviews of the laptop :

Link 2
This is my comment about the review :
Acer should think about making the turbo go to 3.2GHz and go down to default clock (and not 800Mhz or 1.6Ghz as seen in notebookcheck) if the CPU reaches 90°+ in extreme conditions.
Anyway the Lenovo Y580 was throttling too (as noteboocheck claimed) (but works at Stock if 90°+ reached) but users review says no throttling at all even with modded Bios with heavy OC on GPU (835-> 1185MHz with boost 2.0)
Plus if it doesnt reach that much as said (gaming temps = 85°) we could squeeze more perf from the 760M (+135Mhz of the Kepler via software + 100Mhz Boost) and get it at the level of the GTX 765M
the temps of the GPU are really low (65° for GPU) -
Cheers for the reply.
I got my hands on some special offer inside the firm for this laptop.
Concerning temperature, I don't think it'll get that high, since when I'll be using it for games, it'll be stationed on cooling station. And as for overclocking, i don't intend to do it, unless it's completely necesary.
I have 2 more fast laptop questions:
- are docking stations specific to brand or model of laptop; and if there're any docking stations with cooling?
- would it benefit to the life-time of battery if I remove it when laptop is on PSU for example at home?
Thanks and enjoy,

as far as i know, to let battery in while in AC power doesnt affect it, but in order to make it last longer you should discharge it 100%->10% once a month.
The docking stations are specific to models I think and are available for the middle high range of Pro-class laptops (thinkpads-Latitude-Precision)
