I've heard of quick service but remember their service depot is located in Toronto, and thats the only one in here, so you'll need to send it in for repairs..

I know someone who had his Aspire 1681's motherboard not functioning, so he called them, got a number, went there, gave them the laptop, went across the street to the Chapters, busy reading when Acer called him on his cell telling him his laptop was fixed, and he said, 'Time just flew by".

But regarding from, lets say Vancouver - I can't comment.

Hmmm....I have a question now. I bought my Acer laptop from the Source. They said it would take 2 to 3 weeks for repairs. I assumed they would send it directly to Acer for repairs, but would they send it to Toronto instead? If so that would be good, because I'm moving to Toronto in a few days for university. Hopefully that would mean if something were to go wrong, the repairs would be quicker?

Depending on the damage I would assume.
