    Basically, Acer announces that a new "platinum" version of customized notebook will be introduced for the executive/business class people. The new laptop will be tailor-made based on your needs.

    Finally something good in Taiwan. I live in Taiwan and many high end notebooks and PDA's are made here, but you sadly can't buy them here. Taiwanese almost always choose price over performance/features. I always have to go back to the US or pay high shipping fees to get the good stuff.
