Hello, i've recently bought an acer aspire 5739G and i've noticed that the notebook also boots up when i press the arcade deluxe key. After the boot screen with the acer logo i just get a blinking cursor in the top left corner of the screen.
I even tried booting like this with an audio CD or DVD inside, thinking it's some sort of multimedia mode, but with no luck.

My 8930G just boots into Windows when it`s pressed, it`s like having a backup power button :)

It's supposed to boot into Acer Arcade Instant-On, a version of Arcade contained within a Windows XP Embedded installation.
I found it useless, so I got rid of it.
Have you done anything that would change the Master Boot Record on your system - installed Windows 7, etc?

Nope, it came installed with a windows 7 home premium x64. I guess acer might have done a sloppy job at installing it.
