    Hi.

I was trying to update Bios in my Acer 5100-5674 notebook. (bought in USA)
I have downloaded bios for Aspire 5100 and after flashing my cpu isn`t recognized anymore.(amd processor model unknown 1.70GHz)

    My noteebok:

    AMD 64 x2 Tk-53 (1.7GHz 2x 256 kb L2 cache)
    Ati Radeon Xpress 1100
    160 GB HDD
    1GB DDR2
    802.11 b/g wlan

Where can i find the right bios file?

    Sorry for my english.

Good advice :)... to the op you probably flashed to an older version of the 5100's Bios that doesn't recognize the newer 65nm AMD processors. That is the only way that a the cpu would not be recongized after a Bios flash. Update it to version 3.10 and see if it recognized.
