    Hey all,

I have dissamblied my acer aspire 5520 since my laptop monitor is broken, now I want to unplug the monitor cable so it automatically goes over to my VGA-plugged monitor. now I want to know if anyone knows what the right cable is to unplug.

I have 1 cable unplugged atm but before I put it all back together I want to know if it is the right cable(s).

    Pictures:

    Kind regards,
    unknown1138

P.S. I don't know if this is the right section but since it is acer related, I thought it would be the good section.

That's the cable that can be seen already unplugged on last photo.

First of all, thank you for replying and making that clear.

Second, how about the cable on the first picture?
It is connected to the monitor aswell.

    Kind regards,

Hard to tell- I can see monitor cable, two Wi-Fi antenna cables but is there anything else there?

Anyway- the one on the last photo is definitely the one your looking for although I don't know if disconnecting it will make the notebook automatically switch to an external screen.

It is the only for now, as my main monitor doesn't work.
And thank you, I'll try it out tonight.

Everything is fixed and it switches over to VGA automatically now :) thank you for clearing out which cable I needed to left plugged out.

The other, small cable is the microphone next to the webcam.
