    Hello people could anyone please help me,
    I will start at the beginning first i noticed my laptop getting a little warmer than ever before so I installed a program of the net to monitor and improve fan speed, (i wish i had not messed) the next day I switch my laptop on all I'm getting is a blank screen no cursor or anything but the screen is lighting up, If I plug it into external screen everything works great, Ive try system restore updating drivers, can anyone please please help Thank You Ian

    hi if screen is dark but you can still see desktop by shinnig bright light on screen it sounds like its the screen invertor
