    Hi all,
I have Acer aspire 5740 which comes with windows 7 home edition. I once reinstalled the operating system using ERecovery using the recovery partition.
I also took the backup of the partition into 3 DVD's

Later I installed windows 7 Ultimate edition. I don't have the DVD's with me now, and the ERecovery software I downloaded stops with error "Not D2D system, erecovery cannot install".

When I see Disk manager, it shows me 3 extra partitions. 2 without any name with status "Healthy (Recovery partition)" and are 100% free. 1 is of 100MB and the other one is of 11.72GB. The third one is named SYSTEMRESERVED which is also 100MB and 62MB free. The type of this third partition and the rest of drives (C, D, and E) is dynamic. I think I changed them to dynamic at some point when resizing partitions.

I have also tried to boot the systems and hit Alt + F10, but it gives an error message "Missing operating system".

I am pretty sure thats all I did. I know the recovery partition worked before installing windows 7 ultimate. What could be wrong?
