    Hi everyone,

Been reading what i can about vga upgrades available for the acer 5920g, as mine failed last night.I did however managed to resurrect it with the hairdryer method i found.

Could anybody give me a definitive answer on what would be the best hassle free plug and play upgrade if there is such a thing available.

Thanks in advance, i have nearly zero knowledge of computers so forgive me =)

HD 4650 is the only commonly available that will fit. Had one in mine, was fantastic once undervolted. The card above won't fit, its too big. 4670 was the best ever fitted to a 5920g but was a special card. Quality laptop.

Yep, just whack it in and it should boot right up. Be wary of your power supply, I had one that caused some confusion as it wasn't a 90W.
