I receive this BSOD very often I don't know where the conflict exactly happens... How can I find out which installed new drivers have conflicts?
I updated all my system to new official drivers but still the same...Any solutions to this?
Driver irql not less or equal BSOD occurs when I surf the net using Mozilla Firefox... I just open up a few more pages and some downloads or download... and it appears...
McAfee Antivirus could have some problems? or my Nvidia Geforce 9500M GS drivers? ( Forceware 179.28 beta, from Nvidia site)
or my network card Atheros AR8121/AR8113/AR8114, which I think it has almost certainly problems.... ver. 1.0.0.38
If anyone can help..it will be appreciated..

Yeah I think it's a driver conflict/problem but it's hard to tell what is causing this. The pages you're opening with FF...are they containing FLASH?

About the drivers - I just tried the Robson driver from ACER - http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/notebook/as_6920G.html - and it works just fine, I think your downloads got corrupted..try to redownload them again. Use the link I posted above.

I was surfing these site :
    http://www.futuremark.com/benchmarks/3dmarkvantage/download/
    and http://downloads.guru3d.com/3DMark-Vantage-(Build-1.0.1)-download-1906.html#download
I've downloaded this benchmark yesterday but I can't receive the trial key... tried with 3 mails so far...dunno why this...
I just canceled downloading that bench and It stacked..the sites have some ads in flash but nothing special... from what I see...
Regarding the download issue.. it's because Acer has a very pathetic site..very slow ftp and download speed...

I've downgraded to ver. 1.0.0.26 from ACER support site.. to see if it works.. cause I previously had 1.0.0.38 which had problems.
Btw the site that you provided is only for WiFi network cards.. my wireless card is Intel WiFi but is disabled cause I don't need it for now..
I currently use this card : Atheros AR8121/AR8113/AR8114 Gigabit/Fast Ethernet
Hope the older driver will be ok..
I'm thinking to try RegistryBooster program.. do you think it's worthy ?
Cause from a first-scan there are quite many issues.. about 738 registry errors found...maybe this program will be able to repair some..
    Thanks in advance.

Yeah sorry about that, I thought atheros.cz provide ethernet drivers too..
Hope the downgrade solve your BSOD problem.

Anyway for reg cleaning and stuff I recommend CCleaner, it's great and free. If you're thinking of cleaning your registry, I suggest you do backup first.

As a matter of fact I have just changed my ISP and my BSOD caused by the Atheros driver has disappeared.
I don't know why exactly this has just happened but I can surf&download with no BSOD's!
Can anyone explain why this happened ?

Woah, this is really odd. Maybe it's a coincidence and you'll face the problem again..hope not. But really, I can't possibly tell you how may ISP change to fix a driver problem..

These are the facts.. I really don't get any BSOD.. I've used this ISP connection for about a day and no problems at all!
With my previous ISP I've installed all drivers I have found on the net but still the BSOD was there..
I think or it's my ISP's fault or I have problems with cable cause now I'm in another city.. and the facts tell me that it's not any Drivers fault or card problem..
Maybe and I think it's 99% that my current cable from home it's broken..and that's the cause of BSOD..

I have discussed this problem on several forums and there seems that other peoples have had problems with Atheros network cards on specific network topologies.
It's in the Windows directory but I don't want to debug it cause I can predict what the solution would be.. maybe later I'll try and see but others have done this before me so for now I don't have time to debug windows minidumps..

Maybe it's a cable problem.. I will try to contact my ISP and replace it because I can't do this.. it comes from outside my flat. so it can only be replaced by provider...

Looks like L1E60x64.sys is the problem, which is the driver for your Atheros LAN.

Go to acers site http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/notebook/as_8930.html and download the atheros LAN drivers. Then go into your device manager and delete the LAN entry (ethernet) under your network adaptors, make sure you delete the driver aswell. Install the one you've just downloaded.

If you still get the BSOD, then download this http://partner.atheros.com/Download.aspx?id=50 (just accept the agreement then it will download). Follow the steps above to delete the driver, then install this one.

One question, is vista your running 64bit or 32bit.

Uninstall it (driver aswell), then run windows update and see if that picks anything up for you.

    Try this.

Download the driver from atheros, the extract the files, DON'T RUN SETUP.EXE. With the device installed in device manager, right click on Atheros entry, then click update driver. Point update driver to the RIS folder in the extracted folder, then to vista_64, there will be the drivers there. See if this works.

Time to call acer, or return it to the shop where you got it from. I've searched google (looks like you have to) and can't find anything.

Have you tried restoring the laptop back to the factory default as the laptop is new. Not sure if it would solve your issues, but could be worth a shot, otherwise, if I were you, i'd take it back to the shop as it is very new and see if they will exchange it. See if the new one is OK. If they won't exchange it, then call Acer Support.

Easiest way to restore the laptop is to press ALT+F10 during the ACER screen when you start the machine up.

6930g here also, having BSOD from the atheros gbic driver as user above. The problem appears to be in the nic chipset, I am on 1.0.0.39 from atheros and still no luck.
I have traced this down to occurrences being most common when any form of ACPI power management occurs. I also note a WMI error event in my event log prior to the shutdown saying that a file needs to be registered with WMI properly.
In troubleshooting this, I have been experimenting with the nic settings, reducing IRQ/sec from 5k to 4k, removing ipv6 settings to disabled, and removing the sleep mode capability from the nic. About to test it now, will post results. Should be 30-45 mins like clockwork.

The only solution to this problem is "GET RID OF VISTA!!" .
I can assure you that downgrading to XP or using LINUX will fix this problem. It's just one of those incompatibilities/bugs that Vista has.
Hope this will clarify the problem.
