I have pre-installed Vista Ultimate 32bit.. and I want to do dual boot with Linux.. but when I try to partitionate the program from which I'm doing this says I can only have maximum 4 partitions.. which I currently have.. (dunno why this..normally in theory you can create how many partitions you want.. nevertheless..) 2 NTFS..using them with Windows .. and 2 Hidden for recovery..
I've made 2 Acer recovery disks so I can restore my system but I want to do dual boot.. so I don't know exactly how.. if I can't create other partitions..
I can delete those 2 Hidden partitions and still can recover my Vista ? and After that I can create others?
    Thanks in advance.

I think the second smaller hidden partition is for the Acer Arcade application. If you decide to delete it, I think you will lose the instant on functionality for that application. Don't know for sure as I don't have a 6920.

Couple of things for you to try here. Do a Google search for "create more than 4 partitions". Amazing things you can find if you search with the right search parameters. Second thing is to post your question in the Linux Compatibility and Software sub forum on this site. Probably get tons of help there.

Extended partition is needed to create as many logical partitions as you want. I have never used them so can't tell you how to best arrange them on your hard drive. I would keep my hidden partitions though.

What you can do is burn your recovery discs and use something like Acronis Disc Director to delete The Acer hidden partition. Then use that removed partition to create a new 1.
