    Acer aspire timelinex 3830tg

    I have aspire 3830tg with switchable graphic. Everything was ok. Then i bought a vertex 3 and did a clean install of windows. Everything works fine expect the power smart button. I have tried installing/uninstalling the epower and launchmanager software, using new bios... Nothing worked. Before this instalation everything worked ok. I tried also putting the old hdd back and the button worked. Any idea?

    I don't know about the 3830TG specifically, but something like this happened to the 3820TG when we tried to do a clean install. It was important to install the first of the Acer video drivers for the 3820TG before updating to the most recent one. If you didn't do that, you might try it. See if that solves your problem.
