Acer eManager

i have been having problems with the acer eSetting funcationality.

Basically it does not work, i press the short cut button for the Acer eManager and it does its thing and brings it up. But for the five days i have owned this notebook, everytime i click on the eSetting option its cause the windows error repoting message to appear and then nothing happens!...

anyone know what the Acer eSetting option does???... because there no mention of its intended use in the Acer manual.

and does anyone know how i can fix my prolem???...

 

I found this on the Acer site regarding what eSettings does.

If it's causing an error when run, then it's a good possibility that the program is corrupt or there's a problem with the OS (driver/software incompatibility). You may want to try re-installing the eManager software and see if it helps. If not, you can try to reload the OS from the Recovery CD's. Just make sure you backup all your data before the recovery as your drive will get wiped.

You can get the eManager software from the Sticky on the top of the Acer forum on this site. It's a link a user posted that sends you to Acer's European FTP site that has all the drivers for their notebooks.
